About Anali:

Anali is a sewist-enthusiast based in San Francisco.

In her words: "I picked up sewing during the pandemic and am in love with the craft. I enjoy sewing my own clothes and started my sewing page in 2020 to showcase my progress and inspire others to pick up sewing. I love being part of the online sewing community and now look forward to creating an in-person sewing community here in my home, San Francisco. My sewing journey has been incredibly rewarding, and I'm always thrilled to learn new techniques and share my creations with others. From intricate embroidery to simple, everyday wear, each project brings a sense of accomplishment and joy. Recently, I've been experimenting with sustainable fabrics and up-cycling old garments to create unique, eco-friendly pieces. In addition to sewing, I enjoy attending workshops and sewing meetups where I can connect with fellow enthusiasts, exchange tips and tricks, and collaborate on projects. Being part of both online and offline communities has enriched my experience and provided endless inspiration. When I'm not sewing, I love exploring the vibrant culture and scenic beauty of San Francisco. Whether it's a stroll through Golden Gate Park, a visit to a local fabric store, or a coffee break at a cozy café, I find that my environment constantly influences my creative process. I'm excited to continue this journey and see where my sewing adventures will take me next!"

Anali will host the Sewist Open Studio at Michelle Thomas Fine Art Gallery + Studio, 40 29th St, San Francisco 94110.

All sales final.
